Class Descriptions

Here are few simple guidelines to help you and others enjoy your classes at Live Fit

  • Arrive early to class to be ensure that have enough time to set up your equipment before the class starts.
  • Classes start and end on time and will allow time for setup and clean up – plan on staying until the end of class.
  • We learn from each other’s words and actions. As we would tell our younger clients, “this is a judgment free place where all fitness levels are welcome”.
  • No gum, candy, food or glass containers in the fitness studios.
  • For sanitary reasons, we require you to bring your own yoga mat and stability ball to any class which requires one. If you forget your mat or ball, we will have some available for purchase.

 

Barbell Blast

It’s group exercise strength training the functional way! Take high energy, heart pumping cardio, energizing music, some barbells, combine them with a variety of functional equipment and you have the best effective strength training workout of the day!

Bi’s Tri’s Butt & Thighs (&abs)

This class starts with a heart pumping blast of cardio to get the body warm and ready to tone those stubborn areas. The remainder of the workout is broken into 8-10 minute sections designed to sculpt and tone arms, abs, butt & thighs. We will use bands, glides, balls and more. Great music, lots of energy and wonderful people…cant ask for more. Come and try this class! This class is designed for all fitness levels.

Body Rock

This class strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all of your major muscle groups by using exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls. Upbeat music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to continue to challenge yourself and get the results you deserve.

Cardio Express Mix, Abs & Assets

CARDIO EXPRESS MIX: Never get bored. This explosive 30 minute workout combines quick cardio moves and propulsion exercises to improve athletic power and cardiovascular endurance.

ABS & ASSETS: In 20 minutes Make your bottom half your better half! A complete abdominal and lower body workout aimed at toning and defining the muscles in your midsection, hips, buttocks, and thighs. Get ready to feel great about how you look.

Cardio Butt & Gut

Are you tired of hiding your butt with baggy pants and oversized t-shirts? If so, this class is for you. CB&G incorporates a variety of cardio moves and sculpting routines designed to blast calories, tighten, lift and shape your butt, and strengthen your core muscles. This is a must try class.

Cardio Boxing

Cardio Boxing uses a combination of high-energy cardio moves, boxing and martial arts training all-in-one. Powered by motivating music, this workout burns almost 1,000 calories per hour. Leave this class feeling empowered and unstoppable.

Cardio Boxing/Cycle

This class combines Cardio Boxing and Spinning in a jam packed class. Firsy ½ of the class is Boxing and the second ½ is spinning.

Cardio Core & More

Mix it up with a combination of cardio, strength training, and core conditioning. This fat-burning cardiovascular class is designed to increase muscular strength and endurance and help to boost your metabolism. This class will target large muscle groups and incorporate Pilates to work all of your core abdominal muscles. Toning is a great way to take inches off of your measurements, improve posture and feel better. No coordination is required and all fitness levels are welcome.

Jab, Pump & Crunch

This energy packed 45 minute class will leave you energized for your day.  The class combines calorie burning cardio-boxing, muscle pumping conditioning and firming ab exercises. No coordination is required and all fitness levels are welcome. This is a great way to start your day.

Muscle Conditioning

The main idea is to perform rhythmic movements to the tempo while performing a powerful, defined and perfectly controlled movement which would increase your physical strength and your coordination. This strength and conditioning class uses free weights, body bars, and balls.

Muscle Madness & Cardio

This class is the whole package. It combines muscle conditioning with short spurts of cardio in between muscle groups. This workout targets both the aerobic and anaerobic systems for a calorie blasting workout. This class is fast paced and a guaranteed awesome workout!

Power Crunch

A 15-minute class designed to build strength in the abdominals and lower back regions.

Power Hour

A strength and power class targeting the entire body and core all in one hour! Utilizing interval training, body weight as well as functional training tools such as resistance bands, glides, medicine balls, weights, stability balls, and more!

R.I.P.P.E.D

This total body, high intensity style program, utilizing free weights, resistance and body weight, masterfully combines the components of R.I.P.P.E.D.— Resistance, Intervals, Power, Plyometrics and Endurance. Along with driving, motivating music, you will jam through R.I.P.P.E.D. with smiles, determination and strength. No boredom here, for all levels, R.I.P.P.E.D. is effective, it’s tough yet doable; R.I.P.P.E.D. will absolutely challenge your levels of fitness and endurance!

Regular R.I.P.P.E.D. participants achieve undeniable, ultimate results in minimal time, boasting 750-1000 calories burned in just 50 minutes.

Semper Fit

Come and get some serious sweat on in this high intensity class. There will be weights, intervals, and YOU to test your limits and push beyond your plateaus. The only thing missing- your fatigues! If you don’t think you’re ready to enlist in my Marines Corps, don’t worry- we’ll ship you into shape! See you in class…”Yes ma’am!” Taught by a former Marine, all levels welcome, modifications are always encouraged…never give up attitude always a must!

Spinning

Spinning is an aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle giving you a high intensity workout that simulates hills, valleys, peaks, and flat roads. Motivating music plays as you pedal at your own pace.

Step & Sculpt

A heart-pumping total body workout, that alternates between intervals of cardio movements on the step, and upper body muscle conditioning using, hand weights and/or body bars. Continuous movement to upbeat music keeps your heart rate up for cardiovascular endurance, increased muscular strength and fat burning. All step movements can be modified for lower/higher impact to accommodate all levels and all abilities. Whether you use one riser or multiple risers, or add propulsion or not, you will leave this class feeling like you’ve “stepped” into a new you!

Total Body

Total Body is a low-impact, 45-minute class that will work your Total Body from head to toe. In this class you will experience a wide variety of cardio exercises, including low-impact aerobics designed to build stamina. This class will also strengthen and tone your muscles using hand weights and resistance exercises. Be sure to bring your mat for some Pilates core moves and stretching that will leave you feeling invigorated.

Tabata

Tabata is a form of high intensity interval training (HIIT) that offers more health benefits than traditional cardiovascular exercise. In this 45-minute class, strength and cardiovascular exercises are performed at a moderate to ultra-high intensity level (depending on your fitness level) for 20 seconds and then followed by 10 seconds of rest. But, don’t get too comfortable because this is repeated 7 more times to complete 1 Tabata (8 cycles) or 4 minutes of training. This class will certainly increase your muscle strength and cardiovascular/muscular endurance in a short period of time. Both beginner and expert exercisers are welcome as modifications will be given to all levels to make the workout perfect for you.

TRX

Make your Body your Machine: TRX Body Blast and TRX Circuit Training program – Both classes incorporate TRX movements that most participants will be able to perform with minimal preparation.

TRX Body Blast incorporates a 4-round sequence of upper and lower body exercises with a round of core exercises.

TRX Circuit Training incorporates a 4-round sequence of lower/upper body, core and cardio.

Turbo Tone

Need to strengthen and tone your whole body, but don’t have a lot of time? Join us for this quick, 35 min, calorie burning, body toning session! We will move non-stop using a variety of equipment and moves!  You won’t want to miss it!

Zumba

Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic workout system that will blow you away. Zumba Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, heart-racing, muscle-pumping, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.
